Information we collect

When you create an Unprompted account, we collect information you provide, such as your email address, artist name, username, location, roles, genres, bio, links, release information, show dates, products, verification details, and uploaded media such as hero images or artwork.

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information from Google, such as your email address and authentication identity. If you sign in with email, we use your email address to create and manage your account.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve Unprompted, including to:

• Create, save, publish, and display artist pages.
• Authenticate users through Google or email sign-in.
• Reserve usernames and connect pages to public profile URLs.
• Support artist directory features, verification requests, and collaboration requests.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot account issues.

Cloud infrastructure and authentication

Unprompted uses trusted third-party cloud infrastructure, database, hosting, storage, and authentication providers to operate the service. These providers may process your email address, authentication identifiers, profile data, page data, uploaded media, and related records so that you can log in, manage your Studio, and publish your artist page.

Authentication may be handled through email sign-in, Google sign-in, or other supported providers in the future. Authentication sessions may use secure cookies so the app can keep you logged in across Studio, upload, analytics, admin, and public page features.

How information is shared

Information you publish on an artist page or choose to show in the artist directory may be visible to the public. This may include your artist name, username, hero image, bio, location, links, releases, videos, products, shows, verification status, and collaboration availability.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the product, comply with legal requirements, prevent abuse, or protect Unprompted and its users.

Your choices

You can edit your artist page information in Studio. You can choose whether your page appears in the artist directory when that setting is available. You may remove or change public content at any time, subject to technical limits and backup retention.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password, protect your Google account, and avoid uploading private information you do not want made public.
